Hi Diane,no,most of the time sarcoid satrts in the lungs. The first signs are usualy shortness of breath and fatigue. But it can get in any organ of the body. It is one nasty disease. I've had it since 1984 and am going through the worse part of it yet. If you would like, feel free to e-mail me and I will try and give you some answers and support.
