I am 23 years old, and for the past 1 1/2 years I have had the most irregular cycles. I go months without a period, and then will have a perfectly normal period for 5-7 days, and then will again go months without a period. I have had hot flashes, mood changes, irratiability, so I am afraid that I am having premature ovarian failure. Has anyone else had anything similar to this? I was diagnosed with panic attack disorder and placed on prescription Zoloft. I believe my problems began around that time. Along with lots of stress. Could this be the cause? And are there any treatments? Please help...I have been worried about this for so long. I haven't been able to afford a doctor.
