HI Stacy, I too had blood clots in legs and lungs and was on coumindin for 6 months. I had knee surgery and i guess from surgery and being imobile blood clots can happen. Anyway I would freak out with the slightes discomfort in my chest area thinking i was getting another clot. I told this to my doctor who reaffirmed that everything was ok and it takes a good 6 to 12 months for the lungs to "heal" and he gave me some anti-anxiety meds which helped out. Did you get checked to to see if you have a predisposition for blood clots? Some people have this factor. Well god bless and keep your chin up!
