My mother has suffered with servere pain in her left side for 18 months. She has now been diagnosed as having a rare form of cancer Leiomosarcoma. The tumor is wrapped itself around the aorta and the surgeon has stated that it is too dangerous to operate. He cannot say how long mum has to live! She is in great pain and on heavy dosages of morphine. Can anyone tell me how she is going to suffer and the problems we may have to deal with while we watch her slowly die.
