Hi; I dont believe there is any specific cure. I myself am 39 years old and i just found out that I have two narrowing arteries in my cartoid arteries (neck). I was told they are 50-70% narrowed. From what I understand and have read the best treatment at this point is diet,exercise and also whatever they are treating you with meds. I am takind a baby asprin a day, statin drugs. There is some research being done that large doseage of statin drugs will hopefully slow done, stop or possibly reverse plaque. That is something you need to talk to your Dr. about. Let me know how if you find out anything new. As you know I have a personal interest in this subject myself. I hope it helped.
