Consider yourself lucky that it was found! Usually there aren't any symptoms until a crisis occurs. Accidently, after a "stress test" I was found to have blockages to the heart and a 5cm abdominal aortic aneurysim. The heart surgery was first, then later the aneurysm surgery. It is a "big" surgery. My hospital stay was 8 days and healing about six weeks. It is now a year last October. I am doing well. You just have to recup at your own body's recovery system - don't push anything but energy will gradually return. Good luck. Kay
