Laura: I had surgery on 8/15/03,and woke up in great pain with morphine IV in my arm.I was put on oral Oxycontin,and sent to rehab for PT.I started with a walker,and I am now using a cane.I came home on 9/11 still in great pain:the surgeon said it would take several weeks for the pain to diminish.He cut through muscle.The pain starts in the neck and radiates to shoulders.
