my ex has a deep vein blood clot in his left lower leg. his symptoms were severe pain in his lower leg that would'nt go away, and swelling and redness in his calf. he was hospitalized,and put on blood thinners. it is now five mos. later, and he's still bothered by it. the swelling has gone down some. the clot is still there. doctor told him to be walking alot. that is suppose to help break up the clot. you can e-mail me if you need more info.
