I'm not sure if what I had is the same as you describe, but I have had several instances of temporary loss of vision over the years. The docs called it a partial occlusion. The blood vessels in my eye burst and my eye would get all bloody. It was treated with aspirin and now I take optipranolol eye dorps every day. I have also had a stroke after bypass heart surgery 6.5 years ago. The eye problem preceded the real stroke by several years. I think the eye problem was a precurser to the main event. Rowland
