Hi everybody. My mom is intubated since she got hospitalised for a low grade fever(since 21 March 2003) and she is diabetic and she is on dialysis. She got fungal endocarditus in the hospital and she is on amphoteracin and caspofungin she is still having fever up to 38.7. She cannot replace her heart valve because the surgery requires 7 hours open heart surgery and it is very high risk. I am very worried for her. Do you know anybody having that problem who was not a candidate for surgery and could you help me please giving me some advices to help her. I appreciate your help. Thanks Sarah
