My nine year old cousin had to have a complete kidney transplant when he was two. His jaudice levels skyrocketed and the drs could not tell anyone why. They chalked it up to a side effect. My aunt took matters into her own hands. She purchased a portable photo light and increased the amount of time she kept him in natural light (sunshine). He stayed in come kind of light at all times. It took a few weeks but his levels came back down. It has been seven years now and his levels have never elevated so high again.
