Don't be afraid. Your hair will grow back when you are finished with treatment. It may be softer and finer than before; my friend's hair is just beautiful now. There are many beautiful wigs available; or if you prefer you could wear a hat. Call your local chapter of the American Cancer Society; they should be able to help with this issue. Good luck, and try to think positively. Your treatment won't last forever; once you're done you'll be back to good health again.
