my father had the exact same problem... like your husband my fathers doctor had told him he would be dead within 2 to 3 years...one day he passed out at home...we called an ambulance (we didnt know about the problem he hadn't told us) he was brought to a different hospital they admitted him and put him on a heart monitor for 48 hours...they discovered his heart was slowing down and stopping it would start again when he fell (self cpr you could say lol) they fixed the problem with a pace maker...now when it slows down he feels like a soft punch in the chest and it becomes regular again...(this was 5 years ago and he is still fine today) so please try to convinve your husband to have them check this it is a simple operation and he will feel much better ( that is if its the same problem)
