CW, myvery first greatly noticeable ganglian cyst was on my left wrist right at the joint. It was very painful when pressure was put on it (at the time I as a competitive gymnast) and it was quite hard, I remember thinming all the time that it felt just like a bone. Maybe you should go to another orthopedic or hand specialist or just head nurse fr a second opinion as you should get it diagnosed. Good luck, Hana
