I had a Ganglion cyst on the top of my foot. I had surgery to remove it. They also found a bone spur under it which they suspected caused it. Because the surgery was my foot it took about 6 weeks to get back to normal. If it had been my hand or wrist, healing would have been quicker and less painful just because of the area. I have not had any symptoms of this returning. I had the surgery 6 years ago.
