Hi there, I had a baby stillborn to cmv comming up to four yrs ago, since then I have done loads of research as so little appears to be known about cmv. It does mostly effect those with a weakened immune system such as yourself and 90% of people who are HIV+ will have cmv. Between 85-95% of the entire population will have cmv by adulthood but most will never know. The two things I have found most people complain of is general m,uscle aches and chronic fatigue. In peo[ple such as yourself with weakened immunity it can cause other problems such as retinitus so you should have your sight checked regularly.
