When I was 3 I was diagnosed with Keratosis Pilaris....at age 5 my hair was very thin and never grew in all the way and thinned to virtually nothing...when I was about 7 I started getting boils on my skin that were very painful..they would bust & drain and leave ugly scars behind.Growing up in a small town I felt very alone...But by age 13 I attended my 1st Alopecia meeting...I was happy but sad...that others had the same condition...I could finally talk to someone that understands what I`m going through..Then about a year ago by chance I ran across a group of people on the net talking about a skin disorder that sounded all to familiar...yup...twice in a lifetime the same happy but sad feeling came over me..something had kept naggng me from a teeage at my 1st Alopecia meeting...now as an adult I know what it was .I felt the need to reach out to others...the group of peope that have these two disorders are usually women and more & more of them join the group every day...not knowing that there was another soul on earth suffering the same conditions they were..as I had once felt..Now I feel its my chance to reach out and help educate the public and offer support to suffers of the same disorders...if you or someone you know has these problems and need support pease don`t hesitiate to e-mail me Thanks for your time
