My doctor has scheduled a myelogram to check further regarding a possible ruptured disk (c6-c7). I previously had an open MRI but he said the myelogram would be necessary to get a postive diagnosis. What is this test like? Is there much pain? And how long does it take to recover from this procedure? And is it really necessary? What can he see from this he couldn't see from the open MRI?
