I suggest you find another doctor! See a Dermatologist. If you are seeing a dermatologist, find a new one! Like you, I have Psoriasis. It comes and goes. One time I had Psoriasis from head to toe! That is no exaggeration. The only places on my body where I didn’t have it were my face, the palms of my hands, and the bottoms of my feet (I had it EVERYWHERE on my body). I looked like a monster. My Dermatologist gave me a prescription for this compound. I can not remember right now what it is called. However, it was made up of Coal Tar and Cortisone. It was brown, had the consistency of petrolium jelly and smelled like motor oil. It stained any clothign it came in contact with. Although it was gross, it worked!!! Since that bad break out, I have always gone back to the same Doctor and he prescribes me the same thing on the occasions it comes back. There are various treatments out there for Psoriasis. Not everyone responds to the same treatment. You shouldn't have to suffer and look like a monster! Find a doctor who is willing to try different treatments until one works. Good luck.
