Last year I had my tonsils taken out. After, I consistently had sore throats with hoarseness (I was losing my voice about every 3-4 weeks consistently). I was treated for GARD ..Gastric Acid Reflux Disease. My ENT said that could be the only symptoms you can expierience, such as real sore throats..does not hurt to get checked out if you have not already. I lived with it for quite sometime and it can be very frustrating. Good Luck.
