I'm 15 years old and I have an ovarian cyst. The doctor said I just have to wait it out since surgery is avoidable. However, she also told me that to prevent future cysts, which could be worse, I should go on birth control pills. She recommended Ortho Tri Cyclen. She said it was least likely to cause weight gain. How effective is it in preventing ovarian cysts? please help
