I have been having pain just under my ribs and also in my back for several years now - only at night or when laying down. I was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis a couple years ago and had been attributing the pain to that. However, recently I have decided that the pain could not be from my bladder because it is not in the region of my bladder. I was eating a lot of icecream for a while which seemed to cause me to have this pain at night - so I stopped eating icecream except on occasion. The pain at night stopped for a while - so I thought I might be lactose intolerant. But a few days ago the pain started again - I have had a little icecream since the pain started, however, not much and the pain is not only when I have eaten icecream. My mom and several other people have said it might be my Gall Bladder. I am concerned about this as well. If anyone has any info on this it would be appreciated. Feel free to email me
