I have what you discribe and it turned out to be barretts which is when the acid rises up in the lower half of the throat and because the lining of the throat is not made of the same material as your stomach it eats out the lining of the throuat I would ask you doctor to send you a long to have a light put down your throut to see if their is any damage done all ready.
