I had these same symptoms because of type 2 diabetes. Diet & glucophage helped. But I also took it upon myself to get all my liquids consumed by 3 hours before bedtime, and never drink carbonated beverages at anytime. Now I can sleep 4 to 6 hours before getting up to urinate.
