Have you tried a hydrocortisone ointment or cream? It is available OTC in a nonprescription,1% stregnth - however, you may find that it will clear up quicker if you get a Rx for the 2% stregnth, only available by prescription. I do strongly recommend that you have it assessed by a physician for an accurate diagnosis, because it may be a symptom of a condition or illness that you are totally unaware of having - and if that is the case, you could an entire pharmacy of skin care products on it, and it won't do any good. Unless you are 100% sure of what you are treating it is possible (probable) that it could even get worse, continue to spread, or become infected - yikes! Give yourself some peace of mind, and make that appointment ASAP. Good luck!
