Thank each one of you who responded earlier to my request for info on dry eyes. I failed to mention my son had been tested for all diseases and had tried all standard treatments - eye drops, plugs, night treatments, washes,etc. It is thought his dry eyes were caused by long term contact use. The best info I have found on dry eyes is from The Schepens Eye Research Institute in Boston. They have info concerning upcoming clinical trials, etc. They are doing one now that I pray will be the cure for everybody suffering from this. If I should come across any helpful info - I will post it at this sight. I have been told at almost every eye institute I have contacted that a lot of their stuff(treatments)have come from patients telling them what works. So it is very important to try to share any info with each other. Please continue to post any information or things that have helped.
