dear judy, I can understand your pain. I also have fibromyalgia..I didnt realize what is was for the longest time. I finally went to a rhumatoligist and he diagnosed me..He put me on elivil 25mg once a day. there was a big difference right away..i also have irritable bowel which also goes along with it sometime. I have to be very careful of my diet and eat fibor one ceral every morning. Its very important that you get good quality sleep. im also on ambien for sleep. you have to have all your sleep stages especially (rem). that is the stage in which your muscles heal...i hate taking mediations but its the only way i can work and maintain a good attitude. exercise is the next most important.. i know your in pain and hurt all time, but you must do some kind of exercise during the week. i go to water arobics twice a week and walk the other days. I recommend you see a rhumatoligist if you havent yet and see what he can do for you. hope this helps a little and god bless. barbara from wv.
