Have you been tested for H-Pylori? It's a bacteria in the stomach lining. If you test positive and your numbers are high; you need a Prev-Pac (combination of three medications-two which are antibiotics in high doses). I had this. It helped immensely. I still have the problem on occasion and do take Prevacid and also I take Pepsid AC before going to bed at night. I must avoid anything spicy or overly sugary. I also take Tagamet 2 times a day. I don't think this will every go away; but I feel I can control it (mostly). Barbara
