I am 42 yrs, old and have had 5 clots in deepvein in leg. One clot in right arm and one clot presently in groin and hip area. No Doctors around here can tell me what may be causing them except one who found that i had a homocystein level of 103. Which he says would aid in clotting. I need some good advice and need to know if there is anything i can do about my leg which gets sore by the end of the day. I forgot to mention that I was also iron and b-12 deficient. The Hematologist said I was the most b-12 deficient person he has ever seen. I am presently cosidering a grenfield filter because I have had 2 pe to lung (small). What are the pros and cons of the filter????? Please respond asap as I will be discussing the filter with my doctor on Monday the 17th. Thank you for your time and advice.
