I have had a goiter for 3 years but had no symptoms until about a year ago. After several adjustments, we have settled on a 125 mcg dosage of Levoxil. I will have another test in December to see if all is still OK. My problem...I am having TERRIBLE muscle and joint pain. It is especially bad in my hands, knees, shoulders and thighs. My hands are particularly tender. My doctor gave me naproxin but it just sort of dulls the pain. A blood test for rheumatoid arthritis was negative. I'm stumped. Any suggestions, anyone!?!?
