I have enlarged bile ducts due to blockages lower down from a disease called Primary sclerosing cholangitis. Have your doctors checked your liver blood tests? Or done a test called ERCP which is where they pass a endoscope down your throat and through the stomach to where your bile ducts drain. Then they inject a small amount of dye into the ducts and take x-rays which show any problem and usually the cause too.
