Joan-I had a herniated cervical disc that two neuro surgeons thought should be fixed w/ a discectomy. I'm writing b/c I think my results are good even though I didn't have the surgery. Time was the healing factor for me. It's now 2 months from the time I was in unbearable pain. Now I don't need pain pills and I'm seeing improvement almost daily in my arm stength. I'm so glad I got better w/o the surgery, however, I'm confident my surgeon would have done a good job and I would have recovered fine if I would have gone ahead w/ it. I'm glad to hear you did well w/ your recovery and hope neither of us have any furher pains in our necks.
