Your keyword is "twitching". I also suffer from twitching in my legs, however this is not the main agravating symptom, which is a jerking motion in my legs and sometimes my arms. I have tried a wide variety of meds and have found relief from Sinemet. The high dosages of this that I required caused problems relating to side effects. I have found that Vicodin helps. I still have the "twitching" and have found nothing as yet that helps that, however that is a minor problem compared to the jerking which is violent and painful.
