Hi everyone. I am a 23 year old full time student and my life is being proactically ruined by Costochondritis. I am often in such severe pain that I have to miss lectures and just go home, hold my ribs very tightly and rest. Warm baths help. I cannot stand taking medication much more because it is having an adverse reaction on my kidneys. I really want to contact other sufferers or their families on treatment, support etc. Anyone who would like to contact me is welcome, so that we can support each other and help each other through this. I would especially like to hear from anyone who has info on a decent chat about costo, as i cannot seem to find one. Like most people, i thought my illness was caused by a heart related conditions, and even though this has been ruled out, i still panic when i get sharp jabbing chest pain- how do others manage to destreess when this happens?
