I have had electromyelograms,regular myleograms and CT scans as well as MRI's of head, neck and legs. Both with and without contrast dyes. There is nothing to be afraid of, little to no pain involved. Some have a reaction to the dyes used , but discuss this with your doctor, there are several types of dye that can be used. Otherwise just follow your doctors instructions as closely as possible and you should have NO ill effects. Hope this is of help Clyde
