My mom's doctor told her she has it and she is 93 yrs old. He puts her on Keflex (antibiotic) and it helps for a while and the redness and oozing stops but only for a short time. He says it is due to old age and diabetis. Does anybody have any other info on this and how to treat it? He also says to put a heating pad on the legs when they are elevated to help circulation.
