I recently began treatment for hypothyroidism with a natropathic physician. My treatment is based on bloodwork other than the standard TSH. It included an antibody test, T3, T4, and Reverse T3. These tests are essential for figuring out why your thyroid is not working. Pick up a book by Mary J.
