I stopped my periods for 11 months and before for 6 months. I had all the tests(worth doing-PCOS, Fibroids etc..)They said some people s bodies are effected this way by stress, as is mine. I have had troube maintaining my weight for ages, developed IBS and gained also around my middle! I have been given HRT patches for 3 months- I have no side effects accept weight loss!! I'm eating healthily and actally losing weight!! The pill before started them, but made me feel horrible. Do have all the hormone and blood tests just in case.. once your body is balanced and you get your period going and you are eating healthily, you will maintain your weight. I hope I helped you! Anita
