I feel that they should have scanned her brain. But I don't have much faith in doctors anymore. My husband went to the emergency room with chest pains on 4/25 an ecg and a stress test was done.The doctor told him that they thought that he had acid reflux, because the ecg was normal. The thing about that is that it only shows a heart attack if you are having one while they are doing the test. I feel that they should have done a cathotor because of the family history of heart problems. A little over a month on 5/26 my husband had a massive heart attack and died. An autopsy showed that he had Atheroschlerosis, he was only 43 years old.He had 3 blocked arteries to his heart. He had been referred to a specialist but, it was a gasteriologist NOT a heart specialist.So I don't have much faith in doctors. Good luck with your mother.I hope that the doctors that she is seeing know what they are doing, and that they can help her.
