Has anyone ever went into an anaphalactic shock from severe pain. I had a severe gallbladder attack and as the pain was going away a little, the symptoms started. I had hives all over my body, my lips and eye lids started to swell, my throat felt like there was something in it. I was very anxious and my blood pressure dropped and my fingers were blue. They gave me benedrill when the hives started and when my blood pressure wasn't comming back up on it's own they gave me epinephrine. I have seen 4 different Doctors and they are doing blood tests but no one seems to know why I had a reaction like that. I should mention that I woke up in the middle of the night with the gallbladder attack and went strait to the hospital and I hadn't taken any medication or eaten anything. I carry an epi-pen with me at all times. Has anyone ever experienced this before, from severe pain.
