Don't bend and twist. Don't bend at the waist. If you lose bladder or bowell control, if your lower body gets weak, or if it goes numb go directly to the emergency room. I had Sciatica in my left leg and was scheduled for an epidural may 18. Couldn't walk when I woke up and leg pain was miserable. Epidural didn't help. admitted to hospital 19th and surgery 21st. No more pain since surgery untill yesterday. Some sciatica is back but I'm hoping theres just some inflamation that steroids will take care of. good luck.
