Be sure the Doctor follows up and explains why she was anemia. My doctor said I should have been told the possibility of Leukemia due to so many times from the age of 16 of having many bouts of anemia. Some Doctors never followed up with blood work, others did but said the iron was working and never followed up after that. Now I have Leukemia and might of could have been avoided. Daughter 30 years old now going through the same thing.
