I started having symptoms such as yours when I turned 18 and when I had my first full blown "attack" I thought I was having a heart attack until I realized the pain and pressure were centered on the right side under the breast bone. My Dr. did a simple test by pressing into my back under the shoulder blade on the right side, and man, was it ever tender! I had an ultrasound and 2 months later delivered a gallstone the size of a large pecan. I waited almost 8 yrs. before I had anything done about this, and I can tell you I felt so much better after I had surgery! I could not eat lettuce, fatty foods, or drink soda without terrible pressure, pain, and gas. Hope you get to feeling better soon!
