I had a very similar surgery in 1985 for migraines...the oral surgeon said I needed my bite aligned to prevent the migraines...they broke my jaw, moved it forward, lowered my bottom jaw and brought my chin forward...I wish I would have never let them do this...I have very very very limited mouth opening and am quite the snorer of all snorers...have you thought about the laser surgery? I checked into the laser but it would be quite risky with the limited mouth opening...I wish you the best and I don't aim to scare you in anyway...Good luck to you...let me know how it goes...thanks...
