I too have IC. Although there have not been any studies to substantiate, my daughter's dermatoligist has had two cases where his patient has said "the acutane you prescribed for my acne has cured my IC" additionally he had a collegue in California who had had several patients report the same results. My Primary care physician has started my on a very low dose (10 mg. twice a day.) So far I have not noticed any difference,but I've only been on it for two weeks. I am 62 years old so all of the precautions regarding pregnancy do not apply. I will of course have regular blood draws to make sure my liver in not jepardized.
