I have bursitis in my heal and it has been very slow to respond. I finally had to have a cortisone injection and physical therapy did not help. I still have pain when I run in quick bursts but I can now walk normally, which was a challenge for a few months. I have heard that avoiding dairy products and nightshade vegetables are very helpful. I have been trying to avoid them and I notice I am not as stiff and the pain does go away quicker.
