My sister is going to be having a operation for this soon and is totally petrified. Was hoping to hear some great success stories to get her will up to have this surgery. Her tethered cord is in L2 and L3. She was a vivacious young woman prior to an accident she had a couple of years ago. A heavy box hit her in the back and she developed alot of problems. She found out that she had spina bifoda and from this accident becamd symptomatic. Constant back pain, numbness in her feet and legs, depression... Has anyone had a similar experience?
