My step-mother has osteoporosis and many other problems at age 83. She fell two weeks ago and has been suffering from severe back spasms with any movement. She is in a lot of pain. The emergency doctor told her she broke her back, her physician said no. At any rate, does anyone know what would help her spasms. The muscle relaxer is not working. Also, she is on Zantac, Bactrum, and wonders if this could cause her very dry mouth? Any help? What about thyroid? Thanks.
