I have a similar problem and have found some relief with Celebrex it is an anti inflamatory and does help to some degree. I also am taking Neurontin and it completly gets rid of the pain but makes me so drowsy I can barely walk from rooom to room...it is worth trying annd see what kind of results u get. I am due to have surgery in the next few months...but am trying anything else to avoid this..i.e. accupuncture (some joy) and am seeing a naturapath next week..good luck to both of us.
