The symptoms you describe sound like a Strep infection. My daughter is being treated for this now. (Not strep throat). Another symptom is severe fatigue and generally feeling rotten. She's on her 3rd day of 10 days of antibiotics, the spots are still there joints still a little sore, but she feels much better. If you're not better after finishing your Rx have your doctor do a strep test. (incidentally, she never had a fever with this!). Good luck.
